Should I go with ulmer clutch upgrade or scmith bross upgrade?

I am interested in this as well. I am thinking about doing some clutch work next summer.

I am installing an ulmer kit tomorrow and heading up north to the U.P this weekend. I will report back as my buddy has a stock nytro so i will have something to compare it to.

I just installed the Schmidt Brothers. Had it set up for trail riding and not top end. It worked great, smooth engagement, pulls hard in the midrange and I don’t think that I lost any top end. I got it up to 104 mph on the dream O meter in a very short distance and still had more left.

I have schmidt bros stage two on my xtx and its just like they advertise it. Engages way smoother, pulls harder, and I didnt loose any top end

I was debating this question myself too, and the one thing I noticed was ulmer's stage 1 is pretty much equal to schmidt bros' stage 3 kit. Ulmers price was almost the same as schmidt's stage 2, so I can't really decide. Ulmers almost appears to be the better value, but has anyone tried both or have any more info that would sway me either way?

Also thinking of going up to a 144 track next year too if that helps as well...

No complaints here after installing the Schmidt bros Stage II.

Absolutely love my SB Stage 2. Also put a comfort on my Fiance's Phazer and night and day difference there too.

:-o Love to see these two clutch kits and DnF black spring setup aginst each other to see what the best is.
