hey guys i need a track for my rtx my hacksaw 1" is gone after 5k miles and i want something with a better traction without losing too much top end speed. so i'm looking for the new cobra 1.352" or a carve (predator) 1.25" the cobra seem to have softer lug like the hacksaw/ripsaw and the carve have rigid lug. so maybe it's better for holeshot. any of you tried those tracks?

I have been wondering the same thing. I'm looking at replacing the ripsaw on my ER. I have noticed that the 1.25" predators (carve) seem to lose lugs a lot. At least on the used ones I have seen for sale on Ebay and on the forums there is usually a couple of lugs damaged or torn off.

A 1" Predator, fully clipped is better to me and you are not giving up too much out of the hole and will gain on top end. I'm starting to think the hacksaw is junk. On a hard surface with alot of stud penetration, it's not bad, but a predator is better than the hacksaw. The ripsaw would be my choice over the 1.25 predator. The 1.25" predator will really kill the top end, where the ripsaw will not. If you are not goin to stud, then by the Cobra, since I believe it will be the best for Groomed trail with no studs. If you are Studded and run Groomed trail, get the Ripsaw. Groomed Trail and Lake running get the 1" fully clipped Predator.

My warrior with the unstudded ripsaw ran 121 on the dream meter, now with the 136 preditor with 162 studs, ran 120. he preditor is IMO a way better all around track. Maxdlx

Is the cobra soft like a ripsaw?

i finally ordered a predator 1" fully clipped i had a couple in the past and i like it and i dont fell to try something new that i dont know the result. it's probally the fastest track on hardpack and i can used stud without hitting them in the exhaust protector. so tanks for your reply.
