My '07 GT has an intermittant no start- I turn the key and everything powers up but there is just a clicking solenoid and and and a Code 11- "cylinder recognition error". If I keep trying it will eventually start.
Anybody elese have this?
Please dont say "take it to the dealer" - I'm tired of going there- Ijust got it back two weeks ago for the steering recall and then last week I had to fix a wiring problem for a code 88 and no reverse.

Pull off the covers and start looking for connectors that were not completely connected. I don't know were the harness for the rev. is that you mentioned but I would start there.

Is there a site that shows what all the engine codes are?

I took the side cover off on the battery side and checked all the wires and connections and made sure everything was plugged in. I then started it ten times in a row so hopefully it is fixed- possibly just something loose since I made the wire repairs last time for the reverse.

Mine is at the dealer right now for the exact same problem. It has happened twice in the past two weeks; the fuel pump would cycle; the first time it just started after a few turns of the key. But this time there was no click when the key was turned to start after cycling the pump. I tried warming the battery area with a heat gun then I got a click with the key turning to start. Then after some more warm air blown into the battery area and unto the foot rest on the right side it started. Both times it has occurred after having an evening ride and leaving the machine out over night. Not extremely cold either - but cold enough to freeze.
I believe according to other posts on here it may be a faulty relay?? Any ideas?
Thanks,
