Code 15? TPS?

Anyone have a TPS fail? I'm getting a Code 15, and the associated code 84. So I disconnected the TORS so the sled runs but it hesitates and gurgles up to about 3000 RPM then runs fine. I get the code maybe 2/3rds of the time. Sometimes it also won't idle. But always restarts.
I've checked all the wires and see so clear shorts. I've also checked the connector and put some dielectric grease in there, no help.
It's a 2010 Nytro MTX. I'm on a trip and the nearest Yamaha dealer is four hours away. I also don't have a multimeter to test the TPS, but do have a manual. I'd like to know if it's hurting the sled.

SO for those with the same issue. It's the throttle cable. Mine was too loose. A few turns on the cable sheath and the error pretty much went away. From time to time I notice at like 3000 RMP still sputters, but for the most part it's gone.

if you put on Handle bar extensions check to make sure your cables are not to tight especially when you turn the steering

Yea. I had put a bracket to bring the steering post forward a couple inches. It caused no problems for about a week of ridding but then this happened.
