I'm having an issue with code 84. Over the fall, I randomly received codes 84, 11, and 15. After a while code 15 stopped flashing (unsure what I did). After cleaning up the starter solenoid, it cleared up code 11. Which left me with code 84/TORS issue. As others have suggested with TORS issues, I checked the throttle cable and found plenty of slack. I adjusted it as well but nothing changed.
The sled will start without an issue, but idles low and will kill unless I give it little gas . After letting it warm up if i give it a little gas the code goes away and runs like a top with out code 84 flashing. Once I stop/idle the code 84 comes back and kills at a low idle unless I give a it a little gas.
Any ideas? Thanks

UPDATE... After taking it out for a spin yesterday I was getting a a code 15 intermittently during startups along with 84. Sled still wouldn't idle unless I gave it some gas but once it got going it ran like a champ. Today I put it into diagnostic mode and under diagnostic code 01 I was receiving a close throttle reading ranging from 55-70. Wide open throttle was 110. I see these values are well outside the normal range of closed throttle 15-18 and open throttle of 95-100. Is it safe to say the TPS is shot or would a grounding/wire issue cause this too?

It ended up being a fried ground in the yellow grounding block. Grounded the connection straight to the battery and were up and running.

I just figured out my code 84 issue too, this is exactly what happened. Adjusted the TPS while on diagnostic 01, and 84 no more. Yess.UPDATE... I think that can cause all kinds of codes to come up. I burnt mine on my 08 mtx, sled would shut off on its own at random. Its been several years but i think i used to get a code 46 and 81. (System voltage and grip warmer)It ended up being a fried ground in the yellow grounding block. Grounded the connection straight to the battery and were up and running.

My mistake i believe it was code 43 and not 46. 43 and 81= ground block burnt.I think that can cause all kinds of codes to come up.
