Out on a ride today and noticed these 2 codes flashing , and then realized my hand and thumb warmers were not working
Anybody have this happen , and know what causes this ?
My seat heater may not be working also .

My son let his helmet shield cord drop in the snow while connected, got those two codes, it is the thumb warmer, hand warmers, seat warmer and aux mini plug circuit. His was simply a blown fuse blown from the short the dropped cord caused. That fuse is up in the nose fuse block.

I never thought of the helmet shield cord .My son let his helmet shield cord drop in the snow while connected, got those two codes, it is the thumb warmer, hand warmers, seat warmer and aux mini plug circuit. I recall getting off my sled and the cord male end came un hooked at the helmet and fell to the footwell .
Hoping its only a fuse , will check tomorrow .

Make sure you have a female end at the cord end when disconnecting. Royal sells a wire kit and comes with a short lead that stays plugged into your helmet
Or just unplug at the sled.

went with your suggestion of the short lead , so that the long wire that is plugged into the dash , is a female end and next to impossible to short out , and it is easier to plug in and unplug my helmet now .Make sure you have a female end at the cord end when disconnecting. Royal sells a wire kit and comes with a short lead that stays plugged into your helmet
Or just unplug at the sled.
Thanks

If you want the cats #*$&@ and Bee's Knees of cords, look into the magnetic ones. Spendy, yes, but switched this year and wont ever go back. Small one stays on helmet 24/7 other end stays on my Rocztoyz power supply and when I ride, I put them near each other and they connect right up and an LED comes on to show me I have power. No more missing pieces, no more shorting out and super high quality ends. I went through 3 short cords in one day. Lost one, and two the center post broke. Wife's center post sheath (positive) broke off in visor and could not get it out. Ruined visor trying. This was a way cheaper solution.

+1 to this. Got them for my whole family after 1) blew a fuse in the same way as above, and 2) someone ripped their helmet shield jack right off the helmet .If you want the cats #*$&@ and Bee's Knees of cords, look into the magnetic ones.
