Was out for a drive yesterday , did a pretty big jump and kind of a flat landing sled was fine. However when I shut sled off for a bit then go to start it, P-1692 was on and flashing R along with the beeping. Looked it up and was forward relay low circuit. Had me pretty bummed out for a bit. So I was a bit of a ways from home or access to tools to check under hood. I decided to lift one side ski up as high as I could with the ski loop and slammed sled back down, turned the key back on and damn that was enough to get code off and drive home with no problems. Should I take out fuses/relays and clean with electrical parts/contact cleaner then apply di-electric grease? Has this ever happened to anyone?

Never had it happen but I suspect your hard landing jarred the reverse mechanism slightly out of place and it sensed it. I would go in and out of reverse 4 or 5 times just to make sure everything is still working right. Maybe even check that the Pawl is still in there and in correct position by taking actuator off and looking. If its not mechanical then look at the wiring going into chaincase right behind the actuator. Thats the sensor.
