compression ratio

stock gasket .030 compression ratio is 11.8 ,.060 is 10.50 ,so .090 head gasket is the compression ratio 9.4?THANKS

V1/V2 = 11.8 so V1 = 11.8V2

then (V1+.25*PI*D^2*0.03)/(V2+.25*PI*D^2*0.03) = 10.5

Substituting and solving for unknowns I ultimately came up with 9.5 for a compression ratio with a 0.090 head gasket. However, I haven't done math like this since college so I'd be curious if anybody else get the same answer.

You pretty much have the same numbers that SuperDave O from Powdrelites listed. 11.8 with .030, 10.5 with 0.060, 9.41 with .090.
