I was in the garage tinkering with my new 09 Nytro RTX. I was checking all the factory settings and have a couple problems :o| I think?
First is the rebound dials on both shocks are very hard to turn and it seems that the middle shock doesn't have all 20 clicks or even 11 like the book says should be the standard. What am I doing wrong?
Second, and this is my OOPS, in trying to adjust the compression setting on the middle shock reservoir I turned the bolt instead of the little flat head screw. A little fluid leaked out, is this going to be a problem?
Thanks for your input.

Can't be water. The sled hasn't been out of the garage yet. Your probably right though. Leaking fluid can't be good. I'm just wondering if I am going to have to have it recharged.

Did you turn the bolt back? How much fluid leaked out? like a drop or a couple ounces?

I turned the bolt back as soon as I saw the fluid. Less than an ounce leaked out but more than a drop. Maybe 10-12 drops.

If it were me I'd try and run it. If you notice the shock performing like #*$&@, then send it in for a rebuild.

shock should be fine as long as it was like 10 to 12 drops.you wont even notice it
