I just bought a complet moter and put it together and timed it right but # 1 clinder and# 3 clinder has 180 and 2 and 4 has 120 what can I be doing wrong

Do you have an air compressor? If so hook the hose from the compression tester to it and add some pressure to the cylinder. Make sure the valves are closed and find where the air leaks from. Maybe an intake or exhaust valve is not seating causing a lower number. If that doesn't work you can out some oil in the plug whole and if the compression goes up it shows bad rings.
