Last year my old cheap pac boots were falling apart so I wanted to get boots that would really keep my feet warm. I got these: Glacier Point boots. They're definitely warm, but very bulky. The extra thick padding in the soles make them feel like wearing platform shoes. They barely fit in the foot wells and raise my knees too close to the bars, which are already a bit higher than stock and I'm only 5'-9".

Now I'm considering these: Inferno boots. Has anyone here used these for snowmobiling and care to offer a review? They look similar to many of the polular snowmobile boot on the market now and the price isn't too bad.

Only 3 stars out of 5 and the one review wasn't all that good. KLIM makes a better boot and much lighter too.

These are what I used last year for 5000kms in +5C to -40C and they worked great. The only time my feet got cool (not cold or uncomfortable) was when it was colder the -25C and I stood around for a long time. As soon as I was back on the sled and moving a bit they were all good. I would not hesitate in a PAC boot for riding in again. Those inferno boots have even more insulation so they should be better in fridgid temps. However be careful not to sweat too much when the mercury rises.

We wholeheartedly agree...my gal and I both use these boots in Washington State up in the mountains and our feet never get cold or hot & sweaty. Trust me, if they were cold, my spouse would let me know it!! :o|

They feel pretty stout too, as in re-enforced so your feet will be a bit better protected than in some other softer style boots.

We like these so much, that I just bought my 18 year old daughter a pair for Christmas because she wants to go riding with us on my third sled.

Of course, it helps that we have a Cabelas just down the block from where we live...seriously! ;)! ;)!

Klim boots rock and they have great ankle support. The inferno won't have that ankle support. But if you sit all the time then that wouldn't be a big deal to have that support. I use my infernos only for hunting. ;)!

x2 on Klim Adrenaline boots. Can't say enough good things about these boots. Never cold, and always been dry. I'm a sweaty ba$tard so the GoreTek helps breath better too.

Did you find them locally? I'd like to be able to try some on.

Rental Express in Indian River probably has them in stock, they have alot of Klim gear.... I am not sure if they have the yamaha ones, but they do have alot of Klim stuff.
