Converting a APEX ER to an APEX GT

Is it possible to switch out the Rear shock in the APEX ER with the 46mm Öhlins® Electric, Compression and Rebound Clicker?

Or am I better off to do it with a APEX RTX?

Why is the APEX ER 47.9" tall and the APEX GT and RTX is only 41.1?

The electric Ohlin fits any Apex. The electronics on the Apex ER/RTX recognize the shock upgrade which allows the same electronic adjustments found on the GT.

The difference in height is just the windshield height difference...
