With so many mtx with or with out turbos out there for sale I would just buy one and sell my xtx if thats what I wanted.
We stretched our XTX to a MTX. While ours was a bit more than just a stretch, we put a 2013 Summit 163 on. We also changed the drivers to Avid's and also went with the Doo 163 2.5 flex edge track. We cut it down to 15" it was a bunch of work. But well worth it. Since the MTX comes with a horrible track and also the stock MTX skid is about a great as the XTX skid. Heavy and horrible. We used the stock Yamaha tunnel extension. and the Yamaha aftermarket bumper. We also fabbed up our own drop brackets because we needed them to be lower, to not hit the under tunnel exhaust.
But that being said. If I were to go and do it again today. NOT a chance. Id sell the XTX and get a used Viper MTX. Way more fun to ride.

You may have more luck poking around the Nytro Mountain section. There's a few members who frequent that section who have stretched their XTX's. I would also consider what was previously mentioned, and look for a used MTX. The XTX skid is heavy and not the greatest piece of engineering created by Yamaha over the years. Some members have also swapped in PRO RMK and AC float skids in their Nytros.
