should I get an xtx or mtx nytro?

I have an 03 polaris rmk 800 151 and want a used Nytro. After reading this forum it sounds like the stock MTX track is junk and the suspension needs set up and or replaced. I ride mostly off trail in 2-4' of powder not much of a hill climber more of a boondocker. Has anyone converted an xtx to a mtx? If I find a deal on an xtx should I convert it (ie 155 polaris series 5.1 track and ice age rails mountain strap and some simmons skis) or just find a mtx and do the above mods to it as well? Thanks for your input

I had a 08 MTX and lets just say after less than 1000k the new ride is a 09 XTX and I love the thing!
