sorry i know this prob has been discussed several times but just changed out coolant w 50/50 mix etheline glycol . i have tripple checked it with a refractometer and it reads good to -32 degrees (Fahrenheit)(also says 50/50 mix on the money). i take mine up near the UP border cpl times a season and never seen -32 temps.(Fahrenheit) -10/-20 sometimes but rarely. has anybody else just went w the 50/50 mix? or am i pushing my luck?

you should be safe with that mix. i tend to go 60/40 as i do go riding at -40 c/f. much quieter on the trails at those temps.

That’s what i use is 50/50. In the past years guys going more antifreeze were having cooling issues if i remember correctly. I think some sleds were coming to highly concentrated and the rec was backing down to 50/50 for better cooling.
