Okay i understand the old guys like cross country my dad does becuase that and oval is all he had when he was growen up i understand guys but im talken about the 15 to 25 year olds who buy REV's and SNO PRO's there the future of the sport I just dont see why Yamaha doesnt do anything to get those 15-25 year olds on Yamaha's...

The 15 - 25 year olds on revs and sno pros are not the future of the sport, they may be the future of closed circuit racing which in my opinion should not be confused with the sport of snowmobile riding on trials. Snowcross machines and riding in that style have no place on two way public trails in the woods.

But if you get some one on a Yamaha when there young and a kid they will stick with that sled until there in there 40s.

I don't think most kids that age can appreciate the quality of a Yamaha 4S. They just get what they or their parents can afford as a beater sled figuring they will only have it a short time anyway.
It's the same way they look at women, they gotta have the best looking girl out of all their friends it doesen't matter that she is a Beoch to get along with. When we get older we realize it's what's inside that matters and makes a long term relationship work.

well im one of those young kids who likes watching ANYTHING WITH SNOWMOBILES. i like watching cross country-tho i've only seen it once on tv, but i do like watching snowcross bcuz thats what i like to do. now im not a racer but i do like to have fun. i drove a 2000sxr before my rage and i cant believe the difference. i jumped back on the sxr for about 10mi and hated every second of it. the only thing i'd change on my sled is probably the shocks-probably get floats-but if im gonna drop huge $$ into my sled i'll probably upgrade.

Kids and sno-cross+ Big $$$...Repairs, hospital bills and so on...Every kid thinks they are invulnerable, but that is where the majority of the accidents are...If you want to jump, try the ski jumps. Like the commercial says: "silly rabbit, trix are for kids"
