Correct NGK Iridium IX plug number

I need to replace my spark plugs on my 2006 Apex (>10,000 kms). I decided to upgrade to the NGK Iridium IX plug but I'm questing whether the dealer gave me the right plug. The OEM plug is an NGK CR9EB, the Iridium IX plug he gave me is BR9EIX - is this the correct plug? I've read lots about the "magical" 2-3 HP gain plugs but don't believe it and want to just stay with the "standard OEM" plug but would like to upgrade to the Iridium. Help please.

The CR10EK are the plugs that are supposed to give you the 2 hp gain. The iridium will not give you more HP just apparently better starts and a long lasting plug.

the BR9EIX is not the right plug for a 4 stroke
