do they always hurt? just got my 1st one on my right shoulder 4 hours ago and it hurts to use a mouse with that hand atm. never mind bend my elbow.

I've had several. I recommend hot and cold compresses. It can get sore for a couple of days. I think they call it cortisone flare. in the long run its worth it! It has kept me out of surgery for four years. Keep in mind they stuffed a lot of liquid where there isn't much room.

Mine did not hurt but my Doc used a combo in the same needle.

Freezing stuff & the cortisone. Pretty cool I thought.

Wish I had done it 8 years ago. Major improvement in the shoulder.

I've had them in my feet. He freezes the spot and then shoots it in. Helps a lot but hurts like hell going in.

freezing and then the cortisone with the long needle was what was used. still hurt yesterday but a lot better today.

I had one in my shoulder, it helped for a while. I don't recall it hurting to bad though? In fact I remember being able to move my shoulder any where I wanted pain free with in a few minutes.

Had a shot in my knee. Yep it hurt for a few days but after that......miracle drug!

I had it done in my fingers turning them into sausages for two weeks, ouch! Also get them in my hip and that's instant relief.

I got one in my neck between the 4th and 5th vertebrae about two weeks ago. It hasn't really helped much yet.

Ken..........

well now I can say the pain is almost totally gone. still hurts if I push it too hard but I can sleep now whitch Is what I wanted.
