Use a plastic welder or a Fat tipped soldering Iron to repair the hood. I forget the filler rod to use, but if you get the Plastic compond number off the hood you will be able to get it at a autobody supply store.
the hoods are very easy to repair aslong as your not missing chunks, if its a crack, just stitch it together with the iron, and then smoothen it over. once your done with that put abit of filler to smoothen it over, then paint it.
Its time consuming thats about the only thing. I put a 5 Inch crack in my wifes hood. took about 4 hours to repair it plus the time to paint it.

The local body shop I went to fixed my Apex hood front hook/hinge with epoxy its stronger than the orginal was, ie: more material in the area. As for the cracks on the surface sand, bondo, paint, I left mine as its small cracks.

Plus MI trail permit + MN license + the new custom numbers I put on 2 days before I cracked it!!! I know I could probably get the MN and MI replaced but it would not happen before the weekend.
The other thing is the $85 for the new headlight and $60 for the new bracket for the headlight and a few hundred more for a timbersled bumper. Wife has said enough sled spending for the year so cost needs to stay down. So I still snuck in some 2" rox risers.
I heard about the welding, not enough time before I leave to figure that out. I think I am going to try the epoxy for this weekend.
I have seen many people mention painting, is that for the fiberglass type hoods? I am not sure about the molded plastic hoods.
Maybe Gorilla tape is the answer for the weekend!
Thanks for the answers everyone!
