I am new to the four stroke sleds so I had a question regarding free play at pto end of the crank, it seems that I can get a degree of free rotation left or right when I rotate the clutch by hand is this much free play normal ? Likely a dumb question but like I said these motors are new to me, this much free play on a 2 smoke would likely mean worn rod bearings but this nytro motor only has 350 boosted miles it is very unlikely something is wrong
also the clutch has an annoying rattle to it at idle

The clutch rattle is pretty normal on these 4 strokes. The freeplay you're feeling is likely not the rods but the tolerance in the cam chain/gears.
