Has anyone noticed the hood on their Apex to not be centered properly?? I noticed this just recently, and while doing an oil change, I mentioned this to my buddy and he happened to have a center to center tool and it did not fit.
Yamaha specs allow for it to be within 1.5mm, and it could be that much out and maybe more. The belt is not wearing excessively, but my concern is that I am losing performance.
Now if the motor is not perfectly centered, the airbox would be off slightly also, and the farther you would get from the clutches it would look even worse, or am I just grasping as straws and this is just fine???

well, i dont koow about your hood alignment, but i can tell you that your center to center should be right on for maximum performance.

I kind of figured that it would affect performance, the other thing now is how would someone go about adjusting that without tearing the sled apart??
Or is this something that you should leave up to the dealer??
