Yep ordered the wheels in March got them on June 18th but well worth the wait. Great craftsmanship on all parts and it went together pretty easy. The offset axle is a must if you go with these larger wheels. Now all I gotta do is take it all apart and chrome and polish everything in this kit.---Cubby

great job!!!! ;)! ;)! ;)! ;)! It has to be the best and most tastfully done sled i have ever seen. Just one question????When are going to frame it and hang it on the wall.

Cubby, Looks fanstastic...Cant wait for my exhaust parts and Boss Seat. Ill post pics when completed. Be carefull with the billet wheels. I destroyed a set in 100 miles last year. Also, you can polish the wheels. Sled looks most excellent. Any word when my parts will be done?...BBY

Hey BBY, I went to the metal chromer on friday and he said his acid count was low and the new acid has to disolve over the weekend whatever that means. He will start testing aluminum on this coming wendsday. If you want I could send you just the plastic and one aluminum tip that are done already and sitting in your box.........by the way have you looked at my original post about the chromed aluminum not coming out so great???? If you haven't, please do, it explains what is going on with your chrome parts.

As for the wheels being destroyed, this offset axle is so well made and I also made sure the new wheels are positioned exactly how the stock ones were in relation to the hi-fax. However if you notice from the pictures the bogey wheels on the stock Yamaha mounts are sitting about 7/16 of a inch below the hi-fax. I called Chris at Performance Engineering and I designed a new mount that brings the larger bogey wheels up to the bottom edge of the hi-fax. All he has to do is make the new mounts and get them to me. His first words to me when I told him how the bogey wheels lined up on the hi-fax was " thats no good, those new wheels will be destroyed in about a 100 miles". I thought it quite comical that he said this exactly like you did BBY.-----Cubby

Cubby that truly is a work of art ;)! ;YOU ARE THE CHROME-MASTER! ;)!
Looks absolutey positively outstanding, that will turn alot of heads as it looks to nice to even ride.

8) 8) 8) Great job! ;)!

Cubby, Looks great. Only thing you're missing is some chrome curb feelers. If I had that much polish & chrome, I'd be afraid to ride it. :-o

Looks sweet. Bring some plastic replacements just incase you break those metal wheels. BBY2000 broke his last year the first time out.
