Cubby's rear skid is done

Cubby, with the offset axle your wheels will hold up fine. Performance Engineering makes top quality products!

Chubby,
Where do you ride? I need to stay far away...I will first of all be absolutely shown up and then want to go spend a fortune to keep up!! That is a fantastic look.

I ride North Bay, Old Forge, Houghton Lake and this year I wanna go ride up in Buckhorn Ontario near some cabins I own. I heard there is some good riding up there. If it's half as good as North Bay it will be fine for me. And anyone is welcome to ride with us, Just because I am so anal about my sled doesnt mean the rest of my posse is. In fact I end up cleaning my posse's sleds up after rides because they never do.----Cubby

You like me, you really, really like me! <-----(Sally Fields) I am real glad you all like what I did to my sled. I think it will look a little better once I get the wheels polished and put back on. Yea, of course I will put up some pictures on here. After the rear skid is done then I am shipping the sled to Freddie at ECP to have his stage II kit installed and dynoed. Yea, I know it looks good but I want it to perform as good as it looks. As always, anyone of youse that find me out on the trail next season ( or in a bar on the trail ) are more than welcome to ride it and check it out. I hear this new kit of Freddies makes the RX-1 move pretty good and if it is as half as good as his air kit, it must make the RX-1 scream.-----Cubby

SWEET, I DON T THINK I HAVE THAT MUCH CHROME ON MY MOTORCYCLE. IF YOU COME UP TO BUCKHORN GIVE ME A CALL, I COULD HOOK UP WITH YOU GUYS AND SHOW YOU AROUND THE TRAILS.

Cubby,

Any idea when my parts will be done? Do they have to totally re-do them?

Thanks...BBY

Dude, You gotta read my original post called " Chrome exhaust, who want's some". I update everyone on that topic every Friday. Last I heard on Friday about 3 PM was that he thinks his problem is fixed and will start dipping aluminum on Wendsday. He will test out someone elses aluminum before doing mine (youse guys) just in case there is still a problem. Again BBY I still feel super bad about this whole mess and I am staying on top of the chromer daily. The minute I get your parts in my fat little hands they will be boxed up and shipped that same day, I promise you. ------Cubby

I certainly will call you, sledheadgeorge when I plan the trip up there for my posse. I found another guy on this forum, BJRB, who is also from the Buckhorn area. I have cabins on Pigeon Lake, right next to Cadigans camp. I was wondering if I could ride from my cabin to the trails which look like they start up near little Bald lake ? Does Pigeon lake freeze up enough to ride on ? I know I cant go through Gannons Narrows but is there some other way to get to Buckhorn?? My best friend, (Joe Cadigan) is up on lake Catchacoma and I also saw that I might be able to ride up that way on trails. I will get a hold of you when the season starts.-----Cubby
