Ski Doo 6.9 Pilots work great for me.. I tried USI X2's but they had heavy, heavy steering. Stock skis sink/push in deep snow.
Pilots float well and have easy steering. Very little darting.

Skis are a hot topic on this site! What runners are you using on the 6.9 pilots? I am going back and forth between Pilot 6.9 and C & A trail. Am a bit nervous about the C&A's having heavy steering.

6.9 pilots with 6"shaper bars in the center and 4" shaper bars on the outside. Easy and predictable steering. ;)!

I run just 4" woodys on the outside.

In the center I ran 6" Shapers, 6" Woodys, and tripple points.
They all work good. The tripple points seem to give the best wear and bite.

I ran 8" woodys one time because I was in a pinch, had a big trip planned and the dealer was sold out of 6". 8" is too much for those ski's. It darted pretty bad. I think because there is too much carbide in front of the spindle.

X2 on 6.9 Pilots great on and off trail. Made this a completely different sled. Other than a year of finding a proper set up on the rear suspension (softened it way up and pulled limiter straps up) was the biggest improvement to this sled
