Custom Air Box ?

I have read a lot on air box mods. I have a 06 apex in a dragster. I built my own air box and am wondering if that was the right thing to do.

I have read that the air box is inportent for the right air flow

I made it from 5in PVC tube and used the rubber tubes to clamp to intakes

Don't know alot about intake design but the base of the air filter does not equal the volume flow of the four intakes.

I never thought about it that way. I bought a wrecked sled and air box was in many pieces. I have thought about buying one to try.

It looks like you would have room to run air filters on the rubber boots. I would do that first, I may have the pieces you need.
