I was wondering if anyone has ever made their own framing for the Frogzskin material? If so, what did you use for the frame and how did you attach it?

Here's the deal: I'm trying to add vents to the Phazer (air box, clutch panels, and radiator panels). The air box I could use the round pieces they sell, but I am going to do custom vents for the side panels. A buddy and I are going to buy the 36"x53" piece of material from them and make our own framing. I think with making our own frames, we were thinking using .090 sheet metal, we have more versatility and options.

Thanks. :yam:

Find a shop with a waterjet.Have them save the program and you could sell them to recoup costs.

I'd just sew velcro on the edges so it stays flexible if you wanna bend it around some curves, stick it on.
JMO of course.

My old 440 A/C snopro racer had a screen kit on the front like that, it never came undone and molded right to the body lines great.

Cleaned easily, peeled it apart.
