Cutting down rails for 9 tooth extroverts

Wouldn't it make more sense to run 8 tooth drivers and do a gear change than cut the rails?

For me it was more for having less rolling resistance with drivers being almost stock dimensions. I had an anti-stab kit already. Take a look at a gearing calculator also and just a one tooth driver change is gearing down quite a bit and I didn't want to go that low of gearing either

I ended up taking some material off of the end cap and I've had no issues with rubbing yet. Got a about 200km in deep snow and rough trails since the track install. Also let the rear springs loose and put blocks under the front skid shock to bottom it out and i had about 1/2" of clearance.

Avid 9T drivers on stock XTX skid with plenty of clearance, at least 3/8"
