I noticed today my winder has something cycling when it is not running and the key is off . It cycles about every 10 seconds and runs for about 3 to 4 seconds. At first I thought it was the beer fridge ( in garage) but nope, it's coming from the sled, disconnected the battery to confirm. It hasn't run since yesterday. Is this normal, if not what could it be? Thanks!! Tried to upload a 5 second video but says file is to large

I'm guessing you are hearing the gas tank venting. The gas tank vent valve holds pressure till it gets warm enough and vents to atmosphere. As it warms it does this occasionally. Take the gas cap off when you hear it doing it and you'll see the pressure on the cap and the venting will quit.

OMG, lol!! When I disconnect the battery the cycling type noise stopped but only momentarily,( coincidence) then started doing it again, haha!!! I just took the gas cap off , low and behold, the sound stopped, lol!! Well, thanks Mike for the easy fix.....I do however feel like an idiot, lol!

Yup...I took the diaphragm out of my vent valve when the sled was new as the squealing drove me crazy .
So thats the fix Bob to get rid of that noise, remove the diaphragm from the vent valve? Ya it does it constantly, never seems to stop, letting the pressure out is only a temporary fix as minutes later it's back, lol!:o|
