Anyone try these? Looks like you can add or remove weight without removing from clutch.

No. Looks like they might be new though. Lot like the Thunder. Here is a picture. Not QAY but:

We now offer our Patented Quick adjust weights for Yamaha applications. This method of adjustment allows for adding or subtracting mass from the main body of the flyweight without even removing the flyweight from the clutch. Makes for Quick and easy testing and tuning. This series of Quick Adjust uses our "DPYR" series curvature that has been very popular on the four stroke models.

With Yamaha models it is important to know that the necessary "grams" needed for an application can vary widely because of the variety of flyweights and curvatures on the market. Even within Yamaha factory flyweights there is great variance in grams and curvature for the same HP. With the curvature and location of mass used on our Dalton "Quick Adjust" it will most likely be different grams required that stock. Example : The QAY 54 set is often used on 3 cylinder Nitro/Viper type four stroke applications, the QAY-62 is often used at 64-68 grams on normally aspirated Apex applications, (based on your own chosen springs and helixes, etc).

I have a set of QAY 70 I will be testing on the turbo. All caps it doesn't look so much like the Q is a G

i have the dtya 2 weight in my turbo viper and love em. can add weight without removing the weight from the sled.

These are the ones I was thinking of,looks easy to make adjustments

Surprised Dalton can sell these. Seems to me there is a patent on this style of weight not held by Dalton.

I like the Dalton weights. Not as adjustable as my super tip weights but you can add weight right on the trail or race track without taking the primary apart. There is no tip, mid and heel adjustment

I have HHitters and if you just squeeze clutch together you can just remove weights without taking clutch apart.
