I started with the tunnel and man did it come out nice, from there I went to the ski mounts again a nice job! Then i made the mistake of rubbing a little on the rails damn it now i gotta do the whole sled Have at least 10 hours into it already sure looks purty though If only you hadn't posted those pictures Maybe if i make the 03 shine enough the wife will want it :lol: after all who wants an 05 with the factory shine after seeing what mothers will do

Dosen't cleaning your sled count? Does it have to be chrome and polish?

It's called something to keep you out of the house and away from the honey do list. If you knew me I'm not one that generally goes overboard when it comes to cleaning my ride usually just hose it off, greese it up and maybe spray a little silicone on all the metal parts. Problem is once ya start ya can't stop :lol: I agree first ride next season it will look like i never done it but for now consider it safe entertainment 8) It really is a waste of time but at least it's MY time :lol:

Umm yea what he said, damn me. I told you guys it's adicting but it is all worth it when you guys admire my sled. It is also cool when you see guys walking into a bar on the trail and they stop and stare at the sled for about 15 minutes. It does my heart good to see some of you catching the polishing bug.----Cubby

You know iv'e never really been much of a chrome buff before, it was alright. But once you start taking stuff off and polishing it, dam it's adictive. I can't believe how much I actually enjoy doing it, not to mention enjoy just looking at it afterwards. Absoultly no regrets about doing it either :lol: :lol:Thanks Cubby! :lol:

Convert, the mothers stays pretty good for shine, I hit my tunnel up after every big ride, and right now it looks like a mirror, and I have not done it since my last ride...
