I was getting my sled ready for winter this past weekend. I went to the local dealer to pick up a pair of new slides and was totally shocked at the price. They wanted $84 dollars for a pair of slides. I like to support my local dealer, but that's nearly 3 times the coat of what I can buy them elsewhere. The best part is they didn't have them in stock anyway.

Wow that is steep! I'm also big on supporting my local shops but theres a fine line between supporting and being taken advantage of.

Greendog, don't know what dealer you are using here in the twin cities but they should be between $15-20 each depending on color and length.

Same here. Went to get my 40T revers gear from my local dealer. He wanted 228.00 Canadian for it. Plus I would have had to get a berring plus the 23T for another 50.00. Got both the 40T and 23T from Ulmer for 182.00 shipped to Canada including the berring. From what I have seen Yamaha Canada's prices to the local dealers is no where near on par with the US prices.
