Yeah I agree that a higher seat would "fit" better. But I wonder what it would do to the center of gravity?

Probably make it handle like a REV in the corners. A little on the high side is my guess.

Finally gotten around to mounting the 2" riser today and I really like the feel. You guys were right about not seeing the gauge unless you lean but no biggy. The taller seat is something to think about for sure. I see a call to BOSS is in the near future.

freak dont you like the stock 06 seat better with a trunk? Or are you mainly looking for the wieght loss with the boss seat?

Hey, stupid question, but what would stop someone from using this type riser for a Bandit ATV? It's for 7/8" bars, and if you installed them backward, it would raise the bars 1" and move them 1 3/8" forward. I suppose it would be too much to ask to have the bolt spacing the same as the sleds...

Looks promising! Bolt hole center to center is 1 3/8". I pulled a cap off my Vector and it appears to be 1 3/8" also. Bolts on the riser are 8 mm with 1.25 thread pitch. I'll check the pitch on the Yamaha bolts tomorrow at work. The company is interested in the application.
