Has any one installed he diamond s front moly clip or tunnel? If so do you know how much weight it shaved off the machine..... I have run out of ways to make hp with this machine and keep in NA ... I have gutted the machine of all un-needed parts and wiring, so next step might be a moly tunnel and front clip to drop a pound or two..... Depending on your guys feed back! :yam:

I have the Diamond S chrome moly subframe. When I did the swap, the C/M unit came in at 6 lbs lighter than my stock 09 subframe.
When you install it, the holes will need to be drilled that are used to attach the plastics. What I did was use the plastic panels as a template for drilling the holes. Not to bad of a job to do, although you'll want to make sure that a good supply of drill bits! The C/M is much harder/stronger then the stock mild steel subframe!

The biggest thing for me is the running boards! I need to know how they hold up to some hard riding, I hope they are stronger than what they look...

you could call xtreme motorworks and get intake/exhaust +1 porting on the heads, and a different cam for your motor, that would give you alot more power while still keeping in n/a... just sayin... :4STroke:

Way ahead of you I shaved twenty thou off the head and ported and polished it last winter

I am not really sure I am no were near a dyno, I have been trying to get the shop to get one so I can find out track hp but no luck yet, I only got one day of racing with it and no time to clutch it last year..... So for his year with a team roller secondary I am starting all over with clutching. I am goin to start with 8dn-20s, 14.5 rollers and not sure on sping color, At the end of last year I was running 8bu loaded and only pulling 7800-8000 rmp max, with the head cut down I could not though enough weight at it, I reved out going up hill all day.....

You have to run race fuel with that set up or you still able to run pump fuel?

I am running premium fuel, and have the pcv pumping it in! I went 20 thou just for that reaseon, i think maybe maybe i could have got away with 25 thou, however i woould have had to run race for sure, I have a spare head here and i have ported and polished it as well I just need to figure out how much to cut it down...... :o| .... i would love to go 30 thou and go all out but is it worth a motor if it doesnt work and i float a valve or drop one???

yes! How much I am not sure, but it pulled very very hard and i think with some help on the clutchin it will be even better! I wish I ad a track dyno lol, then i could give you guys some number and the diff types of clutching i have been using.... I have tried everything from stock to 8bu's and tinkered with the rat weights.... (didnt get the results i wanted) hence back to the 8bu's and this year 8dn-20's and lots of shop time, but not before a new tunnel
