This last weekends ride was not w/out mishaps,my buddy was on my sled, which has mirrors, and he ended up on the side, and all looked good, until i went to adjust my left side mirror, well the side panel that slides up and hooks around a small plastic pin that was once part of the plastic wrap around top, where you key and rca plug are located,is now broke off,i may be able to drill out the area where it broke off,and install one of the body plugs, that we sometimes get for sleds, they have older style that are one way push thru, and some are two way, where you push the plug thru, than screw in the screw into the center to tighten it up. And on the other sled,i took out the kill switch with a heavy tree branch,it broke it off in the off pos. so we had to hot wire it,to get me home lol, well looks like you need to buy the complete pod instead of the the kill button, maybe we can get one on e-bay,as oem is around 140 bucks.

Hey snownbeast... look around kill switch's are available.. just not at dealers... and alittle trick i had to do when i broke mine... keep a small screw in you poket... there is a little red plastic peice left? if so... take screw and thread down in the peice of plastic left and pull up... kill switch works... i've had this on mine since a year old... no issues.
as for the clip around the shroud... i fixed this by going down to the bottom panel, has 5 screws and one male plug(fits by your foot). I broke off male plug drilled 1/4" holeand installed a 1/4" stainless bolt and lock nut... this will hold the top panel in and keep it from comming out from under the tank shroud. just a few things to keep things going...

I know what your talking about and I also did the same to my buddies rtx, used a 1/2x3/4length bolt, worked perfect. I drilled small hole, just big enough to get bolt in there and turn it in slow, don't overtighten it will strip and be loose in there. 500miles cover on off 10 times works great and barely notice it.
