I have found that there is an upgraded part no between '07 Apex RTX and '08 Apex RTX
'07 Apex RTX partno: 8FP-11102-00-00 Cylinder head assy
'08 Apex RTX partno: 8FP-11102-01-00 Cylinder head assy
Does anyone know what the change consists of?
Does this upgrade increase the performance of the '08 engine over the '07 engine?
I've heard some rumors around here that the '08 runs stronger and I would like to find out if there are any truth in these rumors.
Thank you

Anyone have an answer???
Who else then RXRider would notice something like that?
When i changed from 2007 Apex Mtn to the 2008 Apex Mtx i "believe" the new one felt stronger, i moved all the mcx gear from the old one to the new one so all of that is the same!
I thought they had done something with the electronics, like the ignition, but RXRider seems to traced up something relevant, way to go, keep up the good work Jan-Ove!

That maybe just a updated part number. If you go to the dealer they can punch the old number in and if it's updated it will tell them. Not saying this is what it is just a possibilty.

Thank you TBird for the heads up.
The -01-00 at the end of the partno tells us it is an upgraded part. What I want to know is what the upgrade consists of and what changes have been made to the cylinder head assy.
