okay i saw some pictures with rx1 and warriors using the apex seat with the apex taillight assembly.how did they get the exhaust covers and caps to line up to the apex taillight assembly.did they have to do any trimming or did they have to use apex exhaust covers.thanks rich

to install the new apex tail light, you need use your original side exhaust covers & exhaust tips. you will need to grind a little on the new apex tail light plastic to make it match up,( w/the stock side cover) you will also need to grind a little off the side exhaust cover flange where the tip covers fit ( they will fit tight ) I also had to bend the mounting plate on the exhaust pipe to make the tail pipe covers slide on all the way, fit tight!!! I drilled out the existing holes on the exhaust pipe plate, because the screws will not thread in, (?????) I think one or two may have worked,???? But I drilled them out & tapped them out to fit a 1/4 x 20 machine thread screw, MY hardware store had allen screws that look like stock. If you do all that BS it fits nice.
PS sit on the seat when fitting for your tank cut or you WILL have a gap. I have done several mods so I learned the hard way

I tried all apex parts & it just didn't work for me, ( looked like ****)
(apex pipe end piece is drilled different & will hit the the mounting plate on the tail pipe leaving a gap. )
