I have the mods listed in my sig. I found with the addition of the xtx ski and 8" tripple points the front end stuck like glue and I was spinning everywhere. Also I do about 60/40 on trail/off trail. The xtx ski's did help the front end float, but instead of the front sinking and getting me stuck, the back end trenches and I get stuck that way. So in ditching the ripsaw track I'd like to gain more bite in all but hard pack conditions and loose some lateral bite( so I can pivot better around the corners) I've narrowed it down to a 1.352 cobra or the 1.5 crossover.
In maine we get snow, but spring riding is very hardpack so I'm nervous about the 1.5" corssover and I'm also concerned that it may have the same amount of side bite the ripsaw has.
I'd love to say I'm going to turbo in the future, but all I'd honestly do is a clutch kit and maybe different plugs.... where I ride I can't afford to really get stranded.

At 60/40 I would buy the Cobra, and if you ever want to stud it you still can.

I had thought about that, but I have not ridden a studded sled that I've liked and it makes the back end even harder to rotate
