Hi,

So my other half would like to go snowmobiling with me now, short rides 2-3 hours. Hear is my problem (other than her-kidding) What do I get her? She wants one that looks cool and likes the AC the best then a Doo. I am having a hard time with this as its just not right and could be issues (yahaha-skidoo haha like children) in the trailer when hauling. Any suggestions?

Thanks

No biggie. I haul two brands. Look at yamaha vipar? Skidoo MXZ900? Grab a cat? What's the real problem? You don't want her to come. Lol. Tell her you're with me. That should do the trick.

Been through the same thing. My wife had never ridden until 3 years ago. Definitely makes an expensive sport more expensive. But it has been really fun. Showing her everywhere I have been going for years is fun. I picked her up a 1200 Doo. Mostly because I wanted to try four stroke. And now I have a sidewinder.

My wife tried it many years ago, when I had bought a Vmax 600 DLX triple for a second sled. She went a few time and gave it up. Fast forward 15 years and she likes putting around the property on my Phazer MTX and when I bought my Viper this spring she claimed the Viper as her's when we go riding so I hope she sticks with it this time!

I think this is going to be a waste of money, but could bring some friends i guess

If your married the wallet is empty anyway.LaLaLa:die

take her to the show rooms and let her sit on them all if possible. if she likes it she will ride it. my gf has claimed my apex and does not like the phazer i bought her so guess what i ride when we go out?

Got my wife a Ski Doo Renegade Adrenaline 900 ACE. She loves it. I still ride my Phazer. In fact I prefer to ride the Phazer. Much more fun.

My wife has been snowmobiling for many years, and gave it up for a few due to a bad shoulder. Along came the Yamaha Vector with power steering, and she was able to ride again. She likes smooth trails, and generally goes back to camp early when the trails get rough; the Vector is perfect for her.

Vipers are pretty hot looking sleds although Vector prolly would be best with EPS. Maybe you can sell her on the different HP settings for Vector and would be a good family sled. I would stay with Yamaha lots of good choices for her.

I wouldn't overdo the sled for her, price wise. I would honestly pick up something used and see how it goes. Always recoup the cash. Also, better to spend money on good gear. This will make her experience alot better.

What is top speed on a Yamaha Phazer? Seems like a great all around platform.

Just keep in mind “her” sled is also “your” spare so get something you won’t mind running if needed
