I think I am going to put a 1.75 Backcountry track on my new Apex. I put one on the Nytro last year and really liked it. Has anyone done this and know if you have to take the protectors off the front heat exchanger and or tunnel protectors like I had to do with the Nytro. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Dan

Yes it can be done...Phazernut and myself put a 144 X1.75 lug track on his 40th Apex...We had to remove the tunnel protectors..(Not a big deal.) Not much room on the front but it fits...

Sounds like you guys are lucky over there in Europe. Don't have to take a brand new sled apart and change things after you get them home.

I'm not looking to put studs in. Never liked having them in, I don't run on ice. Thanks for the comments so far.

Yes, they have finaly start to put the track on that we want here.
But it comes with a price of 162900 sek = 23850 usd in Sweden, so maybe a little wrenching is bearable.
