just wondering if anyone out their has a ohlins ya 352 rear shock with reservoir on their sled. If so how do you like the way the shock works and what was involved on the install. Does the reservoir hit the scissor bar or does the shock get installed with the body on the bottom. might be able to get a second hand shock in good shaped. just wondering if its worth it or not.

I had this setup for 1 year before I put an M-10 in and it was the best thing I found I could do to the stock rear suspension. The difference in ride quality vs the stock shock was night and day. I had no problems with the reservoir hitting anything.

I put an Ohlin in my rear skid and it is the single best mod I have done to my RX period. Turned it from a comfortable trail cruiser to a sled that can handle WAY more than I can!!! Really stiffened it up nice. My buddy on his Attak couldn't keep up with me in the bumps... really drove him nuts!
Install was a piece of cake. No clearance issues at all!!
Go for it. You won't regret it
