So how much hotter than that would it have to get before you would hurt the engine?

I was talking to my dealer and he said the temp is very conservative. It is under 200° but I don't remember the exact temp. The light means you need to find some loose snow to run in too cool off. If conditions don't allow, then stop and place snow on your running boards.

I was told the same by my dealer! Gives you lots of time to react!

My new temp gauge you can set to flash at a giveing temp, I would like to set it 5-10 degress lower that the factory temp light is set.
