Temp Light - What Temp?

Blue Dave, page 5-11 in the owners manual, its called the "coolant temperature warning indicator" it comes on along with the warning light

I found the high temp light description on page 5-10 in my owners manual.

Now I really have to question how knowledgeable my dealer is!

Well the dealer did not understand my request and he was checking the low temp warning. In any case it is now a moot point because I was able to get the high temp light to come on this morning.

I believe that the reason I was able to see it today is because the high temp idle shut down was over ridden because I was revving it up on the jack stand and the high temp light came on @ 217 deg.

Apparently the high temp light comes on at a temperature above where the sled will normally shut itself off if left idling. Is this correct?
