I purchased two 2006 apexes this year and went to plug in a gps and the 12 volt jack don't work on both machines. Where is the fuse? Is there something im missing maybe?
Take off the hood and right side panel fuse is above the chaincase on the alum. bar. The fuse block is small and the fuse is the SIG fuse.

Well the fuses are good on both machines. The gps will work in my truck but not on both sleds. Am I overlooking something for both machines to not work??

Not a stupid question. The right question.

How well does the adaptor fit in the socket? Loose fitting may not be making a connection.
Is the GPS manufacturer's recommended adaptor?
Does any other item that can plug into the socket power up? ie, phone charger, air compressor, etc.
Are the sockets on the sleds actually connected to the sled? Sometimes, when I remove that dash panel, I disconnect wiring to make it easier.
