Have a boosted 2009 Nytro RTX SE and experienced a loss of boost this weekend when the throttle body boots came off. Loss of power and hard to start. After re-inserting the boots and tightening, sled ran awesome the entire next day. The following morning rode to breakfast with our group and then went out on the lake for a few WO runs. I experienced the same symptom once again, only this time I did not find anything wrong with boots coming off or any leaks throughout the entire intake tube from the Turbo to the engine block. Will only start with giving a little gas and runs like crap. All 3 plugs look the same with a slight dark look to them. I replaced the plugs and no change. Re-checked anywhere I could think of for any boost leaks and could not find any. When I re-checked the throttle body rubber boots that mount against the engine, especially the two outside ones, are not flush against the block all the way around the inlet. I bet I tried 4 times to mount those flush and was unsuccessful. So I don't know if I still have a boost leak, or something else is causing the problem. Any help with next steps would be appreciated.

double check for leaks remove air filter from turbo and make a test boot with a pressure regulator and pressurize . if there are no leaks check the map sensor

So basically apply pressure through the filter connected to the Turbo and it should hold the pressure? Map sensor meaning my programmer module?
Thanks for the tip, I will check when I get home from work.

Could not find any leaks. All looks normal, seems to be starving for gas as that is the only way I can keep it running, even though it runs terrible. I have a feeling it is related to my programmer located on my hadlebar but not sure if there is a way to test or reset? I contacted Push Turbo to see if they have an idea. Waiting to hear back

My sled was running alittle wierd, so I took off my trail tank to check spark plugs (which looked good) and found out that my flex joints are shot which explains is. Maybe urs r shot. And the thing is I didn't even here it get loader or any rattle. Or you might have excidenly pressed something on ur controller?

Easy to try:
Replace Fuel Filter (Inline maybe with that kit? or in tank???)

Flex pipes are fine, no gas filter to check. I bypassed the programmer module and it ran the same. I am going to swap the battery with my son's Nytro to swee if that makes a difference in case the voltage is low and messing with the ECU.

Changed battery, then ECU with my son's sled. Same result. Starting to think it is the Push Turbo Program module. I have e-mailed and called Ken at Push Turbo over the past two days and still have not received a response

You can try swapping your IAT sensor with your son's... the sensor you removed from your air box during the install. Mine was difficult to start for a bit, but adjusted my BOV and that helped. How are your AF readings?
Good luck with the response from Ken - took two weeks for me last time I emailed him.

Swapped the MAP sensor, no change, ohmed out every sensor related and all is right on. I removed the entire intake pipe system and found no cracks, leaks on any pipes or boots. Turbo is spinning when I have it running, just seems like either a boost leak, or fuel not being delivered properly via the Turbo programmer.

Any idea what the water temp was when doing those blasts down the lake? Air/fuel ratio? Any oil coming out of the breather hose off the oil tank? I'd be doing a leak down test or at least a compression test to see if you possibly hurt the motor.

The motor wasn't that hot as we returned from breakfast about a mile away before hitting the lake. No oil loss out the breather tube/tank. I talked to a lead tech at the snowmobile dealer and he thinks it may be my TPS sensor. Wouldn't that throw a code? I have no codes at all. Hope it is not the motor, but I guess it could have over-boosted.....
