Riding up in Houghton this week with the doo mafia...only yamaha in the group. I've been getting razzed the whole time for not driving a doo and I just laugh at them....
About 11pm last night we had a doo burn down about 40 miles from camp...everyone turned to me to pull it to the road. .
I pulled the doo out to the road and then doubled up on my attak. We had over 500 combined lbs on it and road 75mph the hole way back. My sled didn't miss a beat! I have yet to hear a yamaha bash today!

Had an incident that one of the riders was MR. POLARIS and when a buddy had a breakdown MR. POLARIS sled wasn't able to pull him out so my Apex no only pulled him as his ski hit a stump and was pointed off to the right but I pull him and my buddy out to the road at 50 mph to boot...never let MR. POLARIS hear the end of it all weekend long...LOL...YAMAHA 4 STROKE HP...

I get bashed all the time for riding a Yamaha and I just tell them "we'll see at the end of the trip who's sled is still going." Took a week long trip to the UP this winter with all Ski-doos and Polaris. My Yamaha was the ONLY sled that didn't have one single problem. At the end I'm like "so hows those 2 strokes working for you? and all they had to say was at least my sleds not heavy." I just laughed and said maybe you should hit the gym then and learn how to ride a real sled!

Two of my Cat pals have decided they need to upgrade their Cats every three years when warranty comes off. Lol. They traded theirs in and one made 4 miles before it was throwing codes that werent even in the book. I am going to hit 16000 kilometers this weekend, then it will likely be put away for the season.
They have a good Cat dealer here. Lots of used sleds you can use no charge when yours is in waiting for warranty work. Thats why they are sticking with Cats. I told them they could get them fixed by the Yammy guy, hes not doing anything anyway.
