So I traded a Automotive Alignment machine spec database update to one of my customers. Who used to be a Cat dealer. He had Multiple Mohawk ski kits hanging on his walls. They came with the mount plates. Procross. And they came with 4 inch SLP carbides. I put them on my Wife’s Vector. She railed me about the fact that her new carbides would not steer on pavement. Even though I warned her before we went for her last ride. Just want to give a heads up to Stud boys. And this site. They work. I can deal with it. I explained to her. That you just need to go across the pavement. Then as soon as your skis catch the snow you will be able to turn. So now I need to order 2 sets of these for the Mohawk Skis! P.S. I now have a 75 mile set of Slydog Powderhound skis with 6 inch double downs. And mounting for Apex Vector 2011 on up. For sale. Plus I have a brand new set of Procross mounts for SLP skis.

I have the double downs on my sidewinder.
Had to do a bit of adjustment in the suspension compaired to the standard 4" carbides. Corners great under power now.
Today I caught a rock with my right double down carbide going about 35 mph. It caught and put my sled up on its side. Lucky I was able to pull it back down before tumbling over. Wife was behind me on her sled and says my left ski was about two feet in the air while other ski on the ground. She freaked out.
