I have had my dragon flys for a few years now. Lately I have been experimenting with gearing. The set up I have with the 23 gear worked well. Bolt and washer in the tip and heal and 1 gram bolt in the od.
I tried a 25 gear and for some reason I put a 2.5 gram bolt in the od and this worked well. I went back to the 23 gear and left the set up the same and now it seems not to rev and respond to the extraweight. I also tried a 22-41 gear and it seemed not to rev with the heavier set up.
Now for the question. When gearing lower do you lighten up the ramps? I thought lower gearing more weight, but it seems maybe not.
Any thoghts???

Something is not right. When you gear lower your clutching will rev higher & sled will be more responsive. Sorry but you got something else going on as lower gearing = more rpm,s with same clutching.
