Wondering what the drill size was to drill out the rivets in the original snow flap of an 06 Attak??? Of course mine got caught up on my studs backing up. I bought the new style 07 flap with 4 rivets. What's the easiest procedure for doing this?
Thank you!!!!!

Thank you!!!!!

I don't remember what size I used but I can tell you that the bit was a hair bigger than the pin in the center of the rivet. I just drilled lightly until the rivet came apart.
You'll love the new flap, but you still have to be careful when backing up in deep snow.

yup 3/16 rivets needed here....however many times i find drilling a smaller hole then grabbing the backside of rivet with a END NIPPER and cutting it off works well.
the problem when using the exact size drillbit is that many times the rivet starts to spin...and will screw up the flap....in your case you are replacing the flap anyhow though.
be sure to get yourself new rivets and have a large enough rivet gun....or many have replaced rivets with Stainless Nylock nut and bolt.
