To my knowledge duallys first came out on the 02 Polaris Classic with FAST M-10 to combat darting, they were called Accutracks. They worked very well for both darting and push with poos front end adjustment. So much so that 5 people that rode our sleds converted to Polaris Classics in 03
In fall of 05 I moved to Yamaha only cause poo had nothing new except the Fusion.
With the poo's we could always tell where we were and if we were last there by the dually tracks.
Our new Rages had Woodys duallys dealt in. Right away I noticed that above about 15mph( a crawl) you no longer could see the dually track just a furrow unlike on the poo. Also push was very bad. After trying every adjustment to no avail I could think of I looked close at the duallys.
Polaris duallys are 1 1/2" wide outside leaving approx. 3/4" space between, Yamaha duallys( to fit the ski keel) are 1 1/4" outside leaving about 1/2" between.
Soon as your above idle speed the Yamaha 1/2" is not enough to clean thus causing push.
It was enough to cause me to cut my Yamaha woodys apart and widen the 2 carbides, what a job but boy what an improvement. Push was more than the poos but much much better.
In time due to Yamahas poor skiis I converted to Slydogs with my own design of ski savers with a sharp edge, not darting. I am happy. Rode new Yamahas with power steering and although steering was easy the darting was terrible so we still have our 06's
If we don't get something new soon I'll be back on Polaris.
