is anyone running the dupont 144's on a 153 mtx? if so any issues?

I think the DuPont's would be to short. I believe the 153 needs a 60 or 61" length slider. I know the after market sliders I buy are 62" long and I had to trim a bit to use them on a 153. The 62" sliders are to short for a 162 by a inch or 2. I had to by from the dealer for the 162. 1" short you may get away with but that is your call.

I bought them for my 153 and they were short. I didn't install them, but laid the beside the rail. They would have worked, but the end of the rail was exposed. It could be an issue of gouging the track when hitting something while going into reverse.

mine were shot in the trail, dealer had the duponts, they were a tad bit short but nothing to cause a problem..locked the track up on the stock ones going down the trail....these duponts work great so far

If you do use the duponts make sure they have a good taper at the back , just so you don't snag them when going in reverse. That may be the only real issue if they are a bit short. I wouldn't go any more then 2" shorter. Sliders are cheaper then rails. I have the white factory ones and they seem to be pretty good. 1200 miles on them so far but I also have 135mm wheels which does the most help.

How many 135 wheels did you use...6 or 8? Did you replace the inside ones?

I used 4 wheels. Just replaced the outside wheels. No abnormal wear pattern on the inside with the stock wheels. Some guys say it will wear on a angle but I have not seen it yet in 1200 miles.
